Frequently asked questions

Is it possible to arrive earlier?

Our hours are set so that we can welcome you in the best possible conditions and  to best meet your needs and ours, from 4:30 p.m. to 10 p.m. in person (or after 10 p.m. on request and independently).

It is important to note that we run  our  guest house as a couple, as is usually the case. Our days are divided between breakfast, cleaning, laundry,  responding to emails and phone calls, shopping, preparing meals for our guests, taking care of the jacuzzi and outdoor areas... and we appreciate a little break between all these activities!

If you wish to arrive earlier, you can book an early check-in, subject to availability. (€10 per additional hour before arrival)
The same applies if you just want to drop off your luggage, as we need to be present.
We thank you for your understanding and for respecting our time.

Do you accept babies?

Children under 3 years of age are accepted subject to availability. A supplement of €15 is charged for this service (with or without a cot).
Please inform us in advance if you will be bringing a child, even a baby of a few months old.

Do you accept pets?

We are sorry, but we do not accept pets.
Thank you for your understanding.

Do you offer dinner? Do you serve drinks?

Yes, we offer table d'hôte dining five evenings a week (Friday to Tuesday evenings). On Wednesday and Thursday evenings, you can reheat ready-made meals available on site, as well as wine, beer and soft drinks.
Table d'hôte dining must be booked 24 hours in advance so that we can organise ourselves.
You will also find locally brewed beers, regional wines (Quincy, Reuilly, Pouilly, etc.) and soft drinks.
There is also ice cream in the freezer.

What is there to do in the surrounding area?

You can enjoy a variety of activities to suit your tastes.
Hiking along the Berry Canal, through the vineyards, in the Vignoux/Barangeon forest...
Discover Foëcy porcelain at its museum, visit the 11th-century St Aignan church in Brinay, or venture to Bourges to explore the city with its cathedral and Jacques Coeur palace.
Wine tasting: Villa Quincy offers tastings every day. Visit the cellars if you have more time.
